Common Questions

Red light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to support the body at a cellular level.

Red and near-infrared light penetrate the skin at different depths, where they interact with the mitochondria - the part of the cell responsible of producing energy. This helps support cellular energy production, circulation, reduced inflammation and the body’s natural repair processes, all of which play an essential role in how the body recovers, regenerates and functions.

Use at least 3 times per week, ideally once daily.

If using more than once per day, allow 6 hours between sessions.

Start with shorter sessions and increase gradually.

Typical sessions range from 5–20 minutes, depending on distance from the panel.

Closer distance: stronger light, shorter sessions.

Further distance: larger coverage area, longer sessions.

For general skin wellness, stand about 12–36 inches (30–90 cm) from the light.

For targeted areas or deeper tissues, stand closer to the panel for stronger exposure.

Yes. Red Light Therapy is considered very safe when used properly.

Unlike tanning beds, red light devices do not emit harmful UV radiation, which is associated with skin damage and skin cancer. The light produces only gentle warmth and is safe to use on the skin.

Many scientific studies have reported no significant adverse side effects, making red light therapy a popular non-invasive wellness treatment.
